Is EPX Body a good Home Based Business?

Why You Should Start a Home Based Business

Economic times are tough. Your credit card debt is taking you forever to pay off. You're worried about job security. Your mortgage is high. Your bills are endless. You feel like you can never get ahead when you're barely getting by. You need another source of income, but between your full-time job, family and other commitments, you just don't have the time. The answer: start a home-based business.

Welcome to the Internet. If you want to get out of debt, get ahead and create a secondary source of income for your family, the best way to do this is to start thinking out of the box and start thinking online. There are a number of ways to make money through the Internet, here are just a few:

Multi-Level Marketing (MLM): this is also known as Network Marketing. This is a form of marketing that compensates sellers for both the product they sell and the sales from people they have directed to the company. Those involved with MLM are usually rewarded on a commission basis, through a trickle- down effect: a customer base is expanded through MLM, whereby each marketer is granted a commission as the network expands. Successful MLM results in a number of people receiving royalties from the sales of one person. Successful MLM utilizes social networking mediums such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Direct Sales Marketing: this is a form of marketing, usually unsolicited, which involves the seller directly sending messages to the consumer (through emails, phone calls, etc.). The consumer directly responds to the seller, such as by calling a toll-free number or going to a website. This is also referred to as direct response marketing, and it's more personal than some other forms of marketing. Some online channels of Direct Sales Marketing include: email, Internet banner ads and pay-per-click ads.

Affiliate Marketing: this is a form not too dissimilar from MLM, but focuses less on building networks and more on driving traffic to websites. Affiliates make money from their marketing efforts for the visitors and/or customers (traffic) brought to various websites. Some common channels for Affiliate Marketing include: search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing and paid search engine marketing. This concept of revenue sharing is becoming increasing popular among Internet marketers.

These are only a few ways to tap into the world of Internet marketing. The best way to start making a solid secondary income is to begin a home-based online business - be it selling products for a company, building networks, selling advertising space on your own website or being paid to drive traffic to various websites. There are so many ways to tap into the online marketing world from the comforts of your own home. Join thousands of others just like you who have reaped the benefits of having a home-based business.

Natural VS. Synthetic Supplements - with Dr. Foster

Click the video below to listen to the EPX Body Product call from April 18, 2013.

This conference call features guests Cathy and
Dr. Steve Foster.

Cathy goes over many great reasons to be a member of EPX Body. Are you trying to think of things to say to your potential distributors or customers? Make sure to mention that we do not charge entry or member fees to be a distributor or a customer, our products are guaranteed to satisfy or get your money back, and we PAY people to lose weight (who else does that?).

Dr. Steve Foster goes over the difference between synthetic and natural ingredients. He covers EPX Body products versus other similar (but not equal) products. He also discusses why you do not have to shop in the organic food section for ALL of your fruits and vegetables.

Nutritional Supplements: Adding To Your Health?

Nutritional supplements refers to a wide range of products that are designed to enhance your health, improve athletic performance, or otherwise affect your physical or mental well being. These can include vitamins, sports supplements, weight loss products, teas, herbs, and anti-oxidants. Nutritional supplements can be found in almost all health food stores and many traditional stores as well.

Throughout history, nutritional supplements have been used to treat a wide range of ailments and to improve health. Many traditional medicines come from what may be considered supplements. Perhaps one of the most common forms of nutritional supplement is the vitamin. Many people take multi-vitamins, and doctors often recommend such use. Some vitamins can be risky if taken in excess, however, so an awareness of the safety of such vitamins is essential. An excess of Vitamin A, for example, can lead to liver damage and other unpleasant side effects. Consult with a doctor before taking anything vitamin supplements.

Other popular supplements are used in sports, where they are used to enhance performance and speed recovery. Many supplements used for these purposes cause debate as to effectiveness, and some have been pulled from the shelves. Ephedrine is one recent example. Used in many weight loss products, ephedrine caused serious heart problems for some users and is now a regulated substance. Creatine is another supplement of possible unknown side effects. Some people claim that it causes liver damage, while others say that it is safe when used appropriately.

One of the most important things to know about nutritional supplements is that they are not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This is why many product claims on packaging labels and advertising materials include the message, "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration" or something similar. Because supplements are not regulated, the manufacturing, processing, and packaging methods can vary a great deal from one product to another. When using supplements, be sure to research the company and choose a reputable supplier. The safety of supplements may also be unknown due to the lack of regulation. Again, careful shopping is necessary.

Many producers and users of supplements claim that they are safe because they are natural or made from "all natural" ingredients. While this may seem like a logical claim, consumers must use their best judgment when considering the use of supplements. Many substances found in nature are not safe, and are in fact toxic, poisonous, and even deadly. After all, poison ivy is "all natural," but you likely won't want to rub it all over your skin, even if a great sales pitch tried to convince you that it's the best moisturizer around.

Some nutritional supplements can be useful and aid your health. Just as with any consumable, careful shopping and research is essential to your good health. If a claim seems too good to be true, it likely is. Be aware of product pitches and use good judgment before purchasing and using any nutritional supplements. Buy supplements from a reputable company and manufacturer, and when in doubt, consult a physician before beginning a supplement routine.

Obesity; An Ameican Epidemic, A Worldwide Concern

If you are considered overweight, whether you know it or not, you are in the majority. In America, it has been recently estimated that 65% of the population is overweight with 30% being at least clinically obese. To add to this alarming statistic is the estimate that 15-20% of the nation's children are overweight. Now, obesity is beginning to spread more and more to countries that have always had a relatively low rate of obesity, like China and Japan. This is one case where being in the majority is not considered a good thing. What really matters is, how being overweight or obese affects your overall health.

According to the body mass index, you are considered overweight if your index is between 25 and 29. If your index is over 30, you are considered obese. The American college of sports medicine defines obesity as an amount of body fat that increases the risk of disease. As a general rule, more than 25% body fat for men and more than 32% body fat for women is considered obesity.

Let's look at some of the most likely reasons that so many people are obese.

1: overeating
2: lack of exercise
3: psychological problems
4: too slow a metabolism

These are some of the things scientists are investigating as to the likely causes for obesity. Most of these can be overcome by lowering the fat in the diet and by exercising.

Regardless of the reasons for overweight and obesity, there is health risks associated with these conditions. According to the U.S.surgeon's report:

A body weight of more than 20% over ideal constitutes a definite health hazard.
Obesity is associated with a reduced life expectancy.
Risk factors for heart disease such as high cholesterol increase.
Obesity increases stress on the body joints.
Obesity increases the risk of surgery.
The presence of diabetes is nearly 3 times higher in overweight people.

According to the experts, all of these risk factors can be improved by a reduction in weight. Some have estimated that a weight loss of 10% can improve the risk factors for heart disease by 20%. Also, the greatest health benefits are reported to occur with the first 20 pounds of weight loss, which means that even if it seems to be hard to lose weight, it is still worth doing it. If you don't lose all of the weight you want to lose, you can still improve your risk factors by losing some of the weight.

You can make losing weight a little easier if you just set a small goal at first, then when you reach that goal, set another small goal and aim for that. A good target is to try to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week. It is within reason to try to lose 10% of your current body weight, or 20 pounds in about six months if you are overweight.

The secret to getting in your best shape is always going to be good nutrition and smart training. However, finding the right fat burner can light a fire under your efforts to melt away even more unwanted fat and truly reveal your best body; and the right supplement can get you there faster.

A Nutritious Diet while Traveling

With the EPX Body Convention in Las Vegas or any other recreational or business travel sticking to a nutritious diet while traveling can be one of the more difficult things to do. However, if you learn how to make smart choices, a healthy diet is really not that difficult. It’s probably not the best time in which to start a healthy diet, but if you are currently making healthy choices in your foods already, modifying your diet slightly to accommodate travel, is not as difficult as it first may seem.

If you are traveling by plane, your diet may have to include airplane food, which can often be of poor nutritional value, depending on the selection. When you book your flight, ask about your food options, ask if a vegetarian dish is available. Vegetarian dishes are sometimes more nutritional in this case, but it really depends on what they may be serving. If you can, eat a larger meal before your flight, so that you don’t have to eat the entire meal that is served, to feel full.

When driving or taking a bus, you may be tempted to stop at fast food restaurants and eat the meals found there. Avoid this whenever possible! If you’re on vacation, you may wish to splurge a tiny bit, but having fast food more than once during a week can really be bad for your health. If you must, choose the healthiest options available, like chicken breasts and water.

Also, remember that you can take your own meals when traveling. Carrying a loaf of whole-wheat bread or pita wraps, some lean lunch meat, and low-fat cheese in a cooler is a great way to avoid high-fat and high-cholesterol junk food meals. These are much better choices and you’ll save a lot of money as well. Call ahead to ask if there will be a refrigerator in your hotel room.

Lastly, make smart choices when you eat out. If you choose salads or pasta get the dressing on the side and ask about low-carb options. In fact, many places print these dieting options directly in the menu for the health-conscious people. Control your portions by ordering lunch menu sizes or splitting the meal in half and getting a doggie bag, and you’ll be well on your way to healthy eating even away from home.

Yes, eating healthy foods when you travel can be a challenge. However, your health is worth it. Eating meals high in nutrition will also assist in fighting illnesses that you are likely to encounter when traveling and you will find yourself more alert so that you can enjoy your trip.

EPX Body Nutri-Thin is an excellent way to tell your brain to steer clear of many of the temptations around you. Make sure to pack your EPX Body products when you travel!
